A little about myself, I graduated early from the  University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December of 2022. I received a bachelor's degree in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Clifton Builders Management. As of now, I run a home bakery based in the Kansas City, MO area. My specialties are cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and pies.

So you may be wondering, How did Served by Carmella start? I am sure we can all recall the global pandemic that hit the world in 2020. Well, that is the time I was able to find a true passion. It started by making all the boxed desserts we had acquired over the years. Shortly after that, I was asked to make Key Lime Pies as a way for us to celebrate Cinco de Mayo from a distance with friends and family.

After each individual's pie was dropped off, I received several calls and texts later that night about how much they enjoyed their treat. One comment in particular stuck out, "This is the best Key Lime Pie I have ever had. You should really consider selling them. I would buy more." That one compliment gave start to Served by Carmella. 

 

I have now served a large population of people and the same passion goes behind each treat. I love my job because I am able to make people's ideas become reality in a form of art they get to enjoy (YUMMM)! The passion I have found in baking is not just through my work but the faces of others when they receive their orders.
